About me
As a writer and creative producer, performer, yoga & meditation coach, Yaknel has worked for over 15 years across Europe, Latin America and South East Asia, exploring somatic practices and ways to bring breath and movement into our daily life experiences, using breath as a guide for more conscious living. Yaknel is a catalyst for new energy and perspectives on personal and shared meaning making, transformation and connection. Her creative practice leads individuals and groups through an authentic and personal and collective transformation, accessible to all.

  • Queer & Quer
Queer & QuerComing together to talk about queerness, to write and to experiment with performative strategies of (gender) representation, they discuss the meaning of queer aesthetics for being queer. How can they contribute to shaping new subjectivities? In the course of developing their performance they deconstruct normativity in order to create new artistic forms of representation. And last but not least, as experts of their own everyday lives, they present collective strategies for bringing their respect

Interview · Michael Stone: Meditation, Tattoos And The Inevitability Of PainMichael Stone is a Buddhist teacher, yogi, psychotherapist, author, father and social activist. He translates the teachings from yoga and Buddhist traditions, into practical tools that people can use, both for their own awakening, and also for a deeper change in our culture. I signed up for a workshop with Michael Stone in London recently about transforming pain through yoga and mindfulness practice. One of the things that I realized during my last tattoo session was that I’ve been using some

An approach to physical practice that is radically inclusive and committed to accessibility. This is achieved in the way GBF sequence their classes, ensuring our bodies have been primed for the work. It is achieved in the language we use, which is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and all-body-loving. It is achieved in the spaces we endeavour to hold and create.
