- Indigo in woven textileI have built up one indigo studio in a remote village in southern of China since 2012 with my partner, and now we have more than 10 local people doing handcraft art work, focusing on textile. These people are all having precious Chinese traditional technique which is disappearing in China. We are focus on collecting any potential craft skill and using them in morden designing works.Woven fabric is the most important skills that we are doing now. and we have more than five Chinese old loom to do it. Shibori is another one, and we have one really good master who can do a range of natural dye including indigo. I am the designer and market consultant. Last year we made a collection of indigo concept on ready to wear and got the appreciate from the head director of Levis,San Francisco. In the future, we will focus on more products in different areas of the world.
