About me
As a filmmaker I staunchly believe a film should always engage the audience both visually and emotionally. With every film I work on, it’s essential the audience learn something new.
Whilst at university multiple briefs were afforded to us; whether a documentary focusing on the surrounding culture and community, an advert, an online TV show pilot, a drama, or a seven minute short film. I adapted my skills to best suit the brief, communicating and collaborating clearly with those around me.
When developing my final film at university I did multiple storyboards and shot lists as well as produced, directed, filmed and edited it using Adobe Premiere Pro. Within my large peer group, my role was the cinematographer on all of my group’s films. As each film had a different story and director, it was up to me to create the visual aesthetic as well as altering it to the equipment available whilst complying to the directors needs.
After leaving university I have made multiple films for companies and clients. This has taught me to always be clear when expressing ideas and making sure to maintain the highest standards for each project and brief set.
Stories and ideas deserve to be heard, and it is our job to make that happen.
