I am a highly skilled planning professional with 2 years of experience in the field of marketing communications and a background in PR, branding, strategic management and research. I have a strong academic background, having completed a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media between Spain, the US and the UK. I have previously worked for companies such as The Lighthouse – a bespoke headhunting firm where I developed my skills in database management, research and client management, which helped me broaden my knowledge about the media and advertising industry. I was involved in organising organising Advertising Week Europe 2015, an incredible opportunity to network and learn about the latest advertising and technology trends in the world. Also, I was lucky enough to participate in a work placement in the creative agency Leo Burnett at the Beirut’s office, where I managed the accounts of Smirnoff and Picon Cheese, implementing Smirnoff in the Middle East and managing Picon’s social media account (which has more than 150,000 followers on Facebook). In addition, this experience brought me the chance to progress in my creative skills by actively producing artwork, proposing creative concepts, creating oral presentations for the client’s meetings and market research. In addition to this, I was involved in the production of House of Holland’s AW14 show providing support to the team, providing general office and admin support, creating the show invites, overseeing the workloads and time-keeping of errands from the office.
