Franco-Chinese filmmaker born in London Started out working as a Production Assistant to Spike Lee at his Forty Acres and a Mule Filmmworks studio in Brooklyn. Senior member of Rankin’s in-house film team of five, serving as camera operator and editor on a wide variety of commercials, music videos, fashion films and behind the scenes promos. This was a wide-ranging role with many facets, but typically involved working from a creative brief to plan a shoot, lighting and rigging sets, shooting, editing through to delivery to client, all under the guidance of and in collaboration with Rankin and his creative team.
Worked alongside Mr. Lee at his 40 Acres and a Mule production studio. Assisted him on set in New York and Philadelphia in the production of two documentaries (Mo’ne Davis: Throw Like a Girl and The Knicks: Triangle Offence) from pre- production through to post-production, handling a variety of camera and lighting equipment.
