I recently took the brave step to go freelance. My job was to use big-data & analyse Google keywords for affiliate marketers. This was an exciting job as I dealt with clients from all over the world on a daily basis. Working freelance gave me the flexibility to learn unique skills & softwares such as Moz, Adwords, Similar Webs & custom API software. During my freelance stint, I analysed 200m keywords, made 341 clients happy over 34 different countries. Going freelance shows my passion for excitement & the ability to take a step into the unknown with confidence.
In my senior contractual role as a Marketing Executive at Time Inc. UK, I worked on the implementation of the marketing strategy across international magazines. My role was to coordinate the production of marketing collateral between internal editorial teams, external design agencies, & clients. Other vital roles I succeeded at were taking project briefs & communicating them to different stakeholders, which requires a deep understanding of my teams & clients. My work at Time Inc. shows my natural positive attitude to communication proving I am great at thriving under pressure at a high level.
Winneroo, an online gaming company, hired me to take control of building brand identity & fully develop a marketing strategy in a fiercely competitive environment. Within 12 months I grew their social profile by 65%+ & user engagement by 1,550% while vastly reducing customer acquisition costs, continuously beating my targets. I managed internal teams as well as directing external contractors. My successful marketing strategy was absolutely key to the company’s continual growth & expansion during that year.
Sweetly Stevia encompasses my passion for happiness & good health. As the Marketing Controller I was able to discover my talent for visual marketing through technical tools. Significant achievements include: Complete redevelopment of the website, visual brand identity, social media management, exhibition stand designs & product packaging designs - my work can be seen in EAT Café. I chose not only to be an employee but an ambassador of the product & company.
During my time as Media Arts Production student, I explored many areas of studies in including film production, philosophy, psychology, film analysis, these key areas of studies evoke my passion to pursue a career in marketing.
