  • Braun industry project
Braun industry projectThe starting point of the dress is from Frank Gehry's work process such as cutting, folding, bending, and twisting. Feeling dynamic movement from his architecture and experimental models, I experimented draping, weaving, and laser cutting. Picking out diamond shape from sculpture by Niki de Saint Phalle, I made and developed diverse versions by cutting, laser cutting, folding, weaving and starching (iron technique) on a basis of Frank Gehry's work process. The color was inspired by the interior of the Guggenheim by Frank Gehry such as sky blue, grey and khaki. Also, it was inspired by Flamingos such as peach, orange and pink. # iron dress as Braun
