I’m a UX designer, a feminist, an environmentalist and a campaigner for equality. I’m skilled in UX design and work fluently in English and Mandarin. I’m a strong communicator with a Masters in Contemporary English Literature from the University of Leeds. After working as a creative in advertising, I have decided to embark on a career in UX as it combines the two activities that are most important to me in life – learning and creating. Real Links is a digital platform that helps companies to fill their job vacancies through referrals from their current employees. During the 2.5 weeks design sprint, I worked together with two other team members. We conducted user research to define the current UX challenges of the platform. We also looked deeply into user psychology, using tools including experience mapping and persona, to design an engaging gamification mechanism, such as team competition and time limitation, to encourage participation from employees.
