I am a South Korean female individual who is expected to graduate with Honours degree in BA Fine Art at The University for the Creative Arts in 2018 June. I have had range of intercultural experience via studying and meeting students from various countries such as the U.S., China, and the UK. I am well capable of interacting and communicating and adapting to new environments and circumstances.
I have had various experiences working; at the moment I am part of our university’s student-led curatorial team called Black Box, in which students work as curators and invite artists to install and exhibit their work in the gallery space. I am also working in the university’s library as student librarian, helping students to use library facilities and organizing books. During the summer in 2016, I worked as one of the interns in the exhibition department in Gwangju biennale. I assisted artists in installing and making their artworks, worked as a translator, and hosted opening events. Before I realized I was interested in the art market, I worked as an English tutor and translator.
I consider myself a positive and cooperative person; I enjoy working as a team and am able to negotiate and discuss barriers that might occur. Due to previous work experiences I am eligible in working in a busy environment, and I see myself as a fast learner. I am very organized and I work efficiently with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign. I do believe I can bring delightful contributions to your organization as I am very motivated, reliable, and honest person.
