Side Hustles

About me

As a copywriter I come up with words and concepts for brands and agencies. A D&AD New Blood Shift alumni, and award-winning poet, I am always on the hunt for that sweet spot where the commercial and creative meet. Brands I have worked with include Samsung, KFC, Deliveroo, and Suzuki, at leading agencies in London and South Africa.

      • Freelance
      • Copywriting: I write advertising copy as well as journalism features. I love seeing a campaign through from its inception to the finished product and am finely tuned to the nuances of meaning and phrasing. Experience collaborating with designers and photographers as well as working on award entries and campaign conceptualisation for blue chip clients. Research: I write in-depth stories based on thorough research. I’ve also acted as assistant editor on two books and helped convert a seminal book of art to web format, so I know my Manets from my Monets. Interview Skills: I’m an experienced interviewer, having interviewed everyone from tech superstars to Nobel Prize nominees. I have a knack for drawing out even the most reticent interview subjects
