Doing work for Diffusion PR helped me to improve my analytical writing skills, whilst providing me with a platform to develop essential PR skills such as skimming activity, highlighting potential competitors and compiling press clippings. •Monitoring blog posts, twitter, forums and YouTube videos and finding trends from each platform. •Translating audio and text from French, Spanish and Portuguese into English. •Collecting and analysing data via use of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets. •Creating analytical PR reports in Microsoft Word to summarise the data collected for Iberia and France.
Worked alongside the project manager to plan and co-ordinate a one-day event aimed at University students. •Contacting speakers and clients, greeting and registering them on the day. •Collating guest list and sending out invites and promotions for the event. •Creating surveys for all attendees with Survey Monkey to gather information for the event and feedback after the event. •Working with the marketing team to implement a marketing strategy and managing social media account for the event. •Using Microsoft Excel to create schedules, budgets, POs and invoices for clients. •Copywriting summaries, descriptions and promotions to market the event.
Working at Club Point Argentina allowed me to focus on improving my technological and marketing skills whilst putting my Spanish oral and comprehension skills into practice. •Worked in a Spanish-speaking environment, using Google and Facebook analytics to research the effectiveness of marketing strategies and to help instigate new ones. •Used Photoshop to create promotions and adverts and posted them onto the Facebook for Business page. •Used Excel and Powerpoint to create presentations, representing the month’s data to potential clients.
Working for Lagardère, enabled me to experience how a successful international company works and improved my cultural and commercial awareness. •Worked in a French-speaking environment, taking phone calls and contacting clients worldwide. •Updated the Lagardère intranet daily, attended marketing meetings and worked alongside marketing and sales teams. •Translating and proof-reading global technical specifications from French into English.
Studied French, Spanish, Russian and the additional language, Serbian as part of my languages degree. Went on a year abroad during my third year where I worked and studied in France, Russia and Argentina.
