Temporary Full time role as an events administrator. Providing essential administrative support to the Educational Events team at the College. Duties include; Managing the administration for individual events. Taking minutes for board meetings and helping to run events as well as managing my own.. • Organising travel, meetings and schedules for those in the department and clients • Maintaining high levels of accuracy in all areas of the office • Effectively managing sharing responsibilities with the office as a whole
I was employed as maternity cover in this busy and dynamic office to provide essential administrative support to the head of Continuing Education. Duties included: • Working to a yearly overview and making sure all deadlines are met • Having a solid understanding both of the department and wider institutions structure. Working towards a commission of new works for an exhibition at Dundee Contemporary with new print and moving image based work.
Working on the production of a large scale detailed drawing work by artist Lucy Skaer to be shown in a New York Gallery. Duties included: • Working to a tight deadline where accuracy and efficiency were paramount • Maintaining an excellent levels of quality and attention to detail at all times
Events based arts project-titled COCKTAIL taking place in Bristol and Plymouth over August/September 2014 run by myself and fellow artist Lucie Akerman. Duties included: • Delivery and development of the final series of events and an exhibition for this 3 year collaborative project • Liaising with the 10 other artists and the host institution over the production and development of works • Booking Musicians and relevant help for the project • Managing the budgets as well as sourcing funding and sponsorship partners • Organising the design, promotion and documentation and online aspects of the project • Working with my collaborator to effectively share workload and tasks • Producing a successful funding application with Arts Council England
I was employed to provide temporary support in creating an effective logging system for all incoming and outgoing expenses incurred through the bar and club. Duties included: • Using Sage Accounting programme to log and process the companies invoices • Chasing up payments and informing management of payment deadlines • Liaising between clients and management on the phone and over email • Filing and archiving past invoices and liaising with the accountant
