I founded the Newcastle chapter of Her Campus in the UK, with over 50 initial members in our first year. Along with leading the executive team for our chapter, I was in charge of the weekly edit of articles and scheduling for online publication. As an eager writer as well, I wrote articles on social subjects, fashion and campus events. As the executive lead, I organised weekly executive meetings and events to help develop student journalism. I oversaw the managing of the events, publicity and social media teams over their tasks each week. As a result of this, I have excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, OneDrive, Wordpress and SEO.
I transcribed interviews and translated articles for the features desk at ELLE. I worked in the fashion cupboard, communicating with showrooms and designers for shoot samples and organizing returns. I assisted the Cultural Editor and her team in day-to-day tasks and article research and ideas. I was involved with their digital team, helping promote articles on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
