About me

I have 10 years of experience in the media industry, specialising in marketing, content strategist, publicist and journalist. Currently, I am working with RebelTech PR – helping B2B tech companies and start ups stand out from the crowd through innovative and compelling content strategies, storytelling and social media management. Looking to work with B2B tech startups who are looking to change the game. Having worked for UK’s leading multicultural media agency Here and Now 365, I have had the experience of working on various consumer brands – from launching new brands for Rank Hovis, creating successful brand campaigns for O2, Asda and Morrisons and PR for various financial institutions and property clients. Creating and curating compelling content has been the foundation of my media experience, having worked as a correspondent and sub editor at India’s largest national daily the Times of India and written articles for the Evening Standard, The Guardian and Eastern Eye in the UK.

      • As a Marketing and Communications manager I have the experience of working across an array of different brands for whom I have delivered successful and exciting marketing campaigns. I have had the opportunity to build extensive experience within all areas of marketing from - managing concept and design creation, pitching, client management, market research, PR, content management and event management. Done extensive marketing research and gathering insights. Content creation for the company’s internal website, social media and newsletters. Worked on the Royal Unibrew’s account where I was responsible for promoting their malt drink Vitamalt in the Caribbean Islands, USA, Africa, Canada and France through Facebook. This included creating engaging content and creatives to generate engagement amongst Facebook followers thereby spreading a positive word of mouth and increasing the sales of the product in those regions.Worked closely with Rank Hovis to launch a new flour for the South Asian market – Maa’s Choice Chapatti Atta. The scope of work included market research, garnering audience insights, developing the brand name, creating the packaging and brand guidelines and strategising and executing their annual marketing campaign. Worked with Asda and was responsible for promoting their World Food Range among the South Asian, Eastern European, African, Caribbean and Turkish population in the UK through meticulous media planning and buying across ethnic radio and print, creating festival based radio advertisements and PR. Created Morrison’s annual marketing plan to promote their South Asian food range by creating bespoke television and radio advertisements along with executing innovative experiential ideas at festivals. Worked with the NHS to promote their Be Clear of Cancer Campaign by creating features for different press titles and securing press coverage.
