A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Steven Bartlett to chat about my journey to becoming a CEO.

Despite having interviewed hundreds of founders for #ConversationsOfInspiration, sitting on the other side of the table and answering questions rather than asking them felt (initially) strange, but Steven is a remarkable interviewer, and delved deeper into my experiences and my journey, and I soon found myself reflecting on things that I haven’t considered or revisited in a long time.
A great interviewer is not only interested in the ‘how’, but the ‘why’ and as a self-dubbed ‘Hurricane Holly’ events in my life have happened at such a speed that I rarely get the chance to use my ‘pause’ and ‘rewind’ buttons!
I’m so grateful to Steven for being such a thoughtful interviewer, and for asking questions which made my walk down memory lane full of ‘aha’ moments - through my early years, health scares, marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, becoming a business owner, selling a business, founding another business (a lot to fit into a lifetime, let alone a conversation!)
As I’m currently having a ‘volume down’ moment, there has never been a better time to retrace my steps, remember the sometimes difficult, but frequently beautiful and exciting paths that I’ve walked down, and to appreciate where those steps have and will continue to take me.
Thank you, Steven.
