A question to creative agency owners/leaders, are any of you already putting a *date* on your team's return to your studios post-covid?

The latest government guidance leaves a lot to the imagination, which shoudl be expected as during covid they seem to have been 'following' common wisdom rather than driving it (seeminly ~2 weeks behind the public mood/behaviour). This leads me to believe that it will be up to us as leaders in the advertising industry to find our own logical reasoning and timeline back to our much-missed creative studio environments.

I'm interested to know what 'tests' the creative industry is inventing to decide when it will be right for a partial or full return back to work.

Will you lean on gov gudiance, no. of new cases, some kind of majority vote across your teams/leaders, general public mood... something else?

  • Hey Jemma,

    Interesting question!

We've had a reaosnably successful transition to WFH so are in no rush to go back, so keeping it flexible at the moment.

The government advice is so unclear, my advice for small studios is to wait to see how the next two weeks shakes out, and how people attempt to return, and learn from their mistakes and successes before building your own plan!

    Best of luck!
    Alex
