Any illustrators here that are part of the AOI? Would you recommend it?

- I have a student membership with them. Some of the advice is really useful when your just starting and it gets you a discount on some of the talks. Without a student discount... the cost seems a bit much for what it is but then i've not really had the chance to fully utilse the membership yet.So I guess if your doing enough work to be able to afford it then its worth getting?Hope that helps.
- The people at the AOI have always been very helpful and nice to interact with when needed. It also opened a door to a big community and loads of resources that has been very useful. It also made me feel that I'm not alone and part of strong and inclusive community. So it's a yes from me!
- I agree I’ve been a member for years and to begin with it was their resources and advice that was so helpful then help with fees and especially contracts was invaluable I’m now so confident with those things but I still love being a member as it’s a supportive community and I’m proud to be apart of it and keep up to date with the industry :D
- Yes! Join! Now 😂 no seriously.. join.. you’ll feel more confident, have a better idea of what you’re doing, know how to talk to clients, pitch your work, negotiate contracts and much more.. it’s the one thing that completely transformed my practice..
