Any illustrators using Affinity over Adobe? Contemplating the switch, any feedback?

- @Martin Conway no worries :) Not at all, you can save files as PSD and it opens both psd's and ai files. It doesn't allow you to open indesign files though, as far as I am aware!
- @Rajvi Bhogaita I tend to use photoshop for basic editing/colouring/retouching, preffering to keep my original lines (not so much for vectors). Would you reccommend Affinity Photo/Designer for editing purposes?
- @David Sturgess thanks for the input! Have you had any issues using it proffessionaly, perhaps with clients?
- @Rajvi Bhogaita oh yeah definitey, but I still think Affinity are charging too little if anything! Affinity studio is unbeatable where you can use publisher, designer and photo all together on the same document :)
- also affinity is just a one time payment whereas adobe is a subscription model
- @David Sturgess i agree! so much easier and quicker to create vector art and make posters / social media content however illustrator and photoshop have way more features and effects you can play with
- Much prefer Affinity over Adobe products, not quite as many features but much more intuitive and amazing value for money
