Anyone got recommendations for human centred design or books around human behaviour?

Really interested in human behaviour driving design and using those drivers to design for good, so would love to read a little more into it

  • Suggest you look at a copy of mine which is all about our senses and what they reveal about us when designing https://www.amazon.co.uk/Reveal-Interior-Design-Reflection-Who/dp/1908337222, AND my late great friend Paul Arden's book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Whatever-You-Think-Opposite/dp/0141025719/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2ACD4NEME0Z6L&keywords=Paul+arden&qid=1636036388&qsid=258-1106621-2423531&s=books&sprefix=paul+arden%2Cstripbooks%2C88&sr=1-1&sres=0141025719%2C0714843377%2C0141032227%2CB017BGJX76%2CB08MSQTCKY%2C0714894621%2C0714894109%2CB085H6M56R%2C9123888180%2CB0851MHGNS%2C0714898392%2CB091NP5J1F%2C0714898406%2C0714863483%2C1913543625%2C1447287053&srpt=ABIS_BOOK

  • It's super-old, but this book is an amazing overview into the thought processes behind the first pioneers into the human-computer interface. Basically everything that's happened since is an evolution of their original ideas, and it's a good way of grounding yourself in the channel of progress from then onwards.
