Anyone interested in collaborating on developing a mental health support app?

Looking for Programmers, UX Designers and anyone with a keen interest in mental health!

In response to the pandemic, I'd like to develop an app that can be used to support mental health.

Please note this is volunteering only.

If interested, please DM me! I'd love to hear from you and see what we could do together.

Stay safe and strong x

  • I wanted to share my experience developing a mobile app aimed at supporting addiction recovery for https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/ The idea came from seeing how crucial continuous support is for those on their recovery journey.
The app focuses on providing daily motivational content, easy access to licensed therapists via chat, and a community feature where users can share their experiences and support each other. We also integrated mindfulness exercises, tracking tools for moods and triggers, and personalized recovery plans.
One of the most rewarding parts of this project was collaborating with addiction specialists to ensure the content was both supportive and effective. Hearing positive feedback from users who say the app has become a valuable part of their recovery journey has been incredibly fulfilling.
Creating this app reinforced the importance of accessible, ongoing support for those battling addiction. If you're working on something similar or have any questions, I'd love to chat!
