I am putting on a competition for The Square Club, with some great prizes!
We're looking for 5 Bristol artists to design a cover for our new membership brochures. If chosen, your artwork will feature on our Bristol artist cover series, you'll receive £50 prize money, win a 2 course meal at The Square Club* AND a complimentary membership for a year!
How to apply:
We are looking for a piece of art that represents your style & what you love about Bristol (can be an existing or new piece of work & any medium). Please send your competition entry, website/social link and a bit about your artwork to lauren.mulhearn@qrter.com

- @Raafaye Ali Hi Raafaye, I have already designed the brochure, we are looking for 5 different artist to feature on the cover. Only the winners get paid yes, it's a competition at the end of the day.The artists don't have to submit new work if they don't want to put in unpaid time, as I stated they can submit pre-existing work.
- Not entering this, just asking for clarity for any one who considers entering. You are selecting 5 ‘winners’ for submissions for designing an entire brochure or 5 pieces of work from 5 different individuals to go in one brochure you are designing? And just for clarity only the ones who are selected are then paid for their time to design?I’m not sure about competition models as it can be a method of getting people to spend far more time on something which doesn’t pay them for their effort. I’m not sure what kind of model feels right but this also doesn’t feeel great. Hope your open to this feedback
