Can anyone recommend a good presenting course in London?

  • @Elliott Starr (he/ him) Hi Elliott,
Thank you so much for your recommendation.
I love the Table Topics idea, this sounds really interesting. I'll definitely give it a go!
Thanks so much again, I really appreciate it.
    Best wishes,

  • Hey Riana, this course is great, and @Tom Evans is lovely:

I'd also recommended pinching the 'Table Topics' technique from Toastmasters, and practicing this with some friends/ colleagues.

Basically, you put random topics in a hat. Then, each person takes turns at picking one, and immediately launching into a two minute presentation on that topic.

The rules are that the presentations do not need to be true, or factually accurate, or even make sense. But there has to be some sort of narrative, you have to make some sort of point, and you have to talk for two minutes, and no more.

These can fun and lighthearted - i.e. "I'm going to tell you about my first trip to the moon. The first thing they dont tell you, is, it's not made of cheese. It's actually made of Maoam..."

    Hope this helps.
