Can anyone tell me how to set up a Thumbnail View layout in Zoom?

Can anyone tell me how to set up a Thumbnail View layout in Zoom? I'm arranging a Zoom Meeting with about 3 or 4 people talking and about 15 sitting and listening, and I don't want the talkers to get lost in the crowd!

  • There's also a setting where you can "hide non-video participants" and then you only see the people who have their camera on. For that, you g oto Preferences > Video > and then scroll down a bit in the last list and it will be towards the bottom. There's also an option at the bottom for "Maximum participants displayed per screen in Gallery View" nad you can select from 25 or 49, which may be useful, as well!
  • Hi! It's a manual thing that each user will have to set up (if they want). But you put your cursor in the top right corner of the Zoom screen (once a meeting is in session—I don't know if you can do it in advance) and a "View" button (with white text) will appear. Click on that and you'll see a few options. Pick "Gallery" and you should get that grid layout. :)
