Currently creating my portfolio ready for graduating. I am finding it difficult approaching layout/design of the pages. Any tips here?

- @Zak Reilly no problem! good luck with it all
- @Ria LuceyHi Ria, they're smashing tips, thank you so much!
- @Owen FriendHey Owen, that's really helpful, thank you so much. I definitely spend too much time perfecting the layout and stressing about formatting e.c.t so I'm 100% taking up your advice!
- Consistency & simplicity! Create an overall layout template (top heavy vs bottom heavy boards/max. Amount of samples on a board depending on size etc.), with the exception of unique pieces that might require a different layout. Let your work do the talking and keep the presentation clean and simple :)Could also try bringing in subtle elements of design and your personal likes by choosing work that will complement one another (contrast/colour/bold print vs simple designs). Definitely have a few digital portfolios too! Might even help with visualising layouts quicker! :)
- My advice would be to not stress about the layout - the simpler the better! If the projects are good then that'll shine through so try not to overcomplicate it. Time is better spent reaching out to people so the quicker you can 'get it done' the further ahead from other graduates you will be.I've spent far too much time in the past stressing about the little things when actually it's more important to just get in front of people and have conversations. Hope that helps and good luck with it all!
