Do we need any license for taking photos using strobes/speedlites in public spaces in London (I am not talking about Canary Wharf) thanks =)

- nah man you cool
- there are hand lights you could try utilise which are discreet enough if you tell your subject to hold them. pretty cheap and good they are like card size by araran - al-m9 lights they come with gel sheets so you can add colour etc. get the model to hold the light if its portrature or can put them on a hotshoe ontop of your camerahttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aputure-Amaran-AL-M9-Pocket-Size-LED-Video-Fill-Light-5500K-900Lux-For-DSLR-WN/333406989398?hash=item4da09aec56:g:VuwAAOSwvGtd1tUl
- Yes. Technicaly whenever you shoot on somebody's property e.g. front of the shop or gallery, you should have a property release from the owner that expresses permission to shoot. So you should be aware if while shooting on the street you might be on someone's property. Only in some cases you don't need permission - for example when shooting on public property. It doesn't matter if you are using strobe or not. But in reality, you create more attention with bigger settup - hence "they" (owners or security) might react and ask for permits when they see a tripod or lights on stands or bigger crew...
- No. Things can get tricky if you are to use tripods, light stands or have cables on the ground. Camera with flash is no problem.
