Does anyone have any advice on how to make a WordPress website more inviting/interactive?
I'm struggling to make my WordPress site look the way that I envision it in my head. I'm tempted to jump ship and try another website provider because I seem to be at a loss! Any tips are welcome, and you can check out my site via my bio.

- @Gabriella Nkom I paid the £££ for the Avada theme which comes with a lot of plugins and elements I wanted. It really does come down to what you want to do, what you are marketing / selling / posting and how you want your users to use / consume your content.
- @Crystal Stellema So I'm defiently going to switch over - thank you for this!
- @Ben Hoath I was considering upgrading to get the plugins, but I don't think it's that worth it. I'm considering switiching over to SquareSpace, because they have the plugins included, and it works out to be cheaper.
- It really depends on what you're trying to achieve. However I agree with Crystal's comment, plugins are great but also a lot of work. I can recommend Squarespace and Readymag!
- In my experience, WordPress is a fog of a platform. Plugins constantly need attention or updating and can cause the entire site to malfunction when doing so. I would use another provider if you can't build one yourself using an html template.
- Are you using plugins? Wordpress is really just a basic canvas that comes with a few paints and brushes in the form of templates. Plugins are the real tools that you can use it bring your website to life.
