It would be a dream come true for me. I have the creative skills to deliver work at a high standard, and the skills I lack I can pick up quickly. I have the drive, passion and perseverance that would enable me to fit right in with your team of talent.
Right now, I'm trying to hold my shit-uation together by freelancing as a brand / identity designer since having my lost my job due to the pandemic. Every day I create and post content to continuously develop my craft, constantly working hard towards what I want and where I want to be.
I am a creative graphic designer with a strong emphasis designing for print production, a sector that I have been involved with over the past six and a half years. Where I really want to be, though, is designing for games, both analogue and digital.
My skills are wide and varied. The range of experience I possess includes large format print production, layout and brochure formatting, 2D design collateral for print, packaging, and signage. I am well versed in logo and identity design, motion design, photography, and WordPress website design. I tend to stretch myself across a broad selection of roles because I like to use knowledge and ideas from one project to fuel another. I believe this is what makes me a stronger designer.
In my personal time, I like to immerse myself in the world of UX / UI design; reading, studying and practicing in order to understand how to design better for this platform. To wind down, I love playing table-top games with my friends, paddleboarding and listening to design podcasts - Design Details being my favourite.
I've cut my teeth in fast-paced environments, creating, developing, printing, and finishing countless projects that were required within a tight production timeline to achieve deadlines. I hope you consider my abilities as a strong potential for your graphic designer role.
