Does anyone have any experience using Bark to get freelance graphic design work?

- I use bark successfully as an illustrator, for design the pitches are quite expensive, ive had a number of logos (£100-250) , I upsold to a website, flyer snd 7 illos (£1800) and a menu (£250) as far as design goes.Overall I spend about 10% of what I earn and have found some ongoing client work across email marketing.I set up a welcome series to filter my clients using automations to send examples of my work.It can work, gauge the client from the description.
- Avoid!! I tried it as a photographer and all I got was loads of emails posting jobs that paid tiny amounts. Definitely not worth it if you know your value as an artist!
- @Catherine Broadbent I haven't heard of Upwork! I'm in a fairly corporate role currently but want to pick up some short term freelance work on the side. The minimum initial payment to Bark is £200 which seems like an awful lot considering.
- Would love toknow too, i currently use Upwork and other than getting my job currently via that its not much luck, i also applied for Twine but i have the same skeptism there all one in the same. Don't want to pay for the subscription just so i can get paid!
