does anyone have recommendations for a good DSLR photography course. really basic beginners. in london preferably?

    Haven't tried any so no experience of any of them, however, I found the best way was to get out and about, take lots of photos and improve that way!

  • @Siobhan McGregor thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I just wanted to become familiar with the settings with proper instruction, then learn myslef with practise. I might check those places out.
  • Self teaching is a great way to learn, even if it can take time. I'd say that's how I've learned the most, but I also did a beginner course with city academy that was helpful. Here's the link: https://www.city-academy.com/photography-classes

  • My advice to you is providing you have your own basic kit to get started is this. Read the instruction manual and get a cheap book for the technical stuff and to improve your skill set take lots of photos
