Event Planning?

Hey guys, I want to hold an event based in the Midlands for creatives, especially for the means that I grow my network of people, but also for others to have fun, but I am unsure of how to plan an event or what to consider when planning an event. If someone can help me, please message me. Thank you.

  • Start by asking yourself some questions

    • How many people are going to be at the event?
    (this will help with the size of the venue you look for)
    • Do you have a budget for the venue?
    • Do you want it to have a theme or guest speakers?
    (What will be the focal point of the event? - this will help with how you promote it and get people to come along etc...)
    • Will you have food/drinks? a sponsor?
    • location? loggistics? is it easily accessable for people?
    • What kind of venue would you like it to be? a bar? an arts space? local community centre?

    There are tonnes more but I'd start with this and reach out to people in your area who may have organised something similar?
