For my CV work experience I put Freelance Graphic artist and is it okay to put clients' name on it even though we have signed NDA.

  • Hey Wilson,

Stating clients name is alright, as long as you do not disclose the specifics of work agreement or what you've done. If you have any hesitations, try reaching out to the client to double-check.

  • You should be able to put the companies you have worked for on your CV. What the NDA should mean is that you just can't discuss the work you did for those clients. Hope this is helpful.
  • Hi Wilson,
Most NDAs don't prevent you naming a business on your CV. NDAs are put in place to stop you disclosing details of the product or business ops.
Unless the business is in stealth mode and specifica states you cannot name then, then you are free to do so
  • It depends of what you have written on the NDA, for fashion, once the collection is out and public i can post pictures of the work i've done, NEVER before it is public, but i have that written on each contract, you shoud ask to the client before using any image or name.
