Guerrilla Art. How to utilise images after the work is done.

I am taking part in an art project that requires a bit of sneaking around and Art.
As I document it (taking photographs of each work as they happen), it has occurred to me that I am not sure how these images could be used later. An exhibition? Prints? a Zine? All of the above?
Let me know what your thoughts are and how the artist could move forward with this after the work is done.
It would be great if they could help support their future work with this project.

  • It sounds like a fascinating art project! Here are some ideas on how the images could be used after the project is completed to support future work:
    1. Exhibition: Consider organizing an exhibition featuring the photographs of the art pieces created during the project. This could be a great way to showcase the work to a wider audience and potentially sell the pieces.
    2. Prints: Create high-quality prints of the photographs and offer them for sale. This could be a way to generate additional income and allow people to own a piece of the project.
    3. Zine: Compile the photographs into a zine, along with written reflections or stories about the project. This could be a more affordable and accessible way for people to engage with the project and could be sold or distributed at exhibitions or online.
    4. Merchandise: Consider creating merchandise such as postcards, posters, or other items featuring the images. This could be another way to generate income and promote the project.
    5. Digital Portfolio: Create a digital portfolio showcasing the images and the story behind each artwork. This could be shared online and used to attract potential collaborators, sponsors, or buyers.
    6. Crowdfunding Campaign: If you're looking to fund future projects, consider launching a crowdfunding campaign featuring the images and the story of the project. This could help raise funds and generate interest in your work.
    7. Collaborations: Use the images and the story of the project to reach out to galleries, curators, or other artists for potential collaborations or opportunities to exhibit the work.
It's important to consider your audience and how you want to engage with them when deciding how to use the images. You can ask for more at https://chatgptsvenska.org/ .Each of these options could help support your future work and bring your art to a wider audience.
  • a zine. MAKE IT NEW as pound said. take the piss, have fun. do something against the grain, that isn't commercial. do something subversive, truly subversive, that hasn't been co-opted or commodified.
  • When you say sneaking about and art, do you mean you're going to be leaving artworks (canvas) around the place for people to find, for you to photograph/marketing campaign or leave as streetart for others to enjoy longer term?

Do you mean use the imagery of the artworks to be used at a later date?

All of which you've mentioned sound great but it would be dependent on the imagery/artwork.

@David Speed did an awesome treasure hunt and is always doing great things to promote his work!

It would be great to know the aims of the Guerilla art and the artwork being left! :)

    Good luck with it!
