Have you worked within the sports industry? Do you have an opinion on what the industry is doing right and what they could do better?
I'm looking to talk with anyone who's worked or is working within the sports market to discuss the big and small issues within all sports and how we can begin to tackle them for long term change.

- @Aaron Griffiths there’s definitely more movement in general in the industry but I still don’t feel like brands have really captured the essence of how to reach more women, I feel a lot of the problem comes from the ‘extreme’ label that got added to boardsports. Our company aims at normalising longboarding and our mission is to make it a sport for everyone (not just young men who currently make up 90% of consumers because brands don’t work hard or well enough to reach women).
- @Teresa Batista Thanks Teresa, that's great to hear. Does the company you work for now/previous clients have a mission statement that looks to tackle those sort of issues long term? Or when working with agencies, for example, they've clearly stated that as a key element?
- I work in boardsports, my company is aimed at women. From my perspective things have been changing in that department (less pink), but there's still much more to be done in terms of strategies used to target women and the representation of women in general.
