Hello everyone, I have a quick question. Does anyone have any places/websites/apps where they would recommend creating a portfolio too?

Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

  • Hello, as other have already mentioned, Behance (behance.com) and Dribbble (dribble.com)could be a start. However, if you really want to establish your online prensence, I would think about building a website, so that you are in total control of your content both for graphics and storytelling. Now, you can hire a developer, or use a website builder, like Wordpress (wordpress.com), Squarespace (squarespace.com) or Wix (wix.com).
Remember that having a website does not exclude you from using Behance or Dribbble or any othe platform for creatives. A good combination and use of some of those platform can actually reveal the best strategy for you to build a wider network.
  • Yoh Thomas, I personally use Behance.com , you probably know it already.

    You can also use :
Dribbble.com really similar with behance working as an online portfolio platform.
Wordpress.org different logic, you create your own website with the help of Themes & Plugins.
Wix.com is an alternative to Wordpress, offering pretty much the same services. I find Wordpress to be more complete even though you need more time to get familiar with it.

    Hope it helped,
    Happy designing.

  • @Ksenia Lowe Thank you for taking the time to comment. I'll definitely take a good look at these and decide how I'm going to go forward with making my portfolio over the next few days.
  • If you have Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Portfolio was a game changer for me! Hope this helps :)
  • Hello!

At the moment I just create it manually on Sketch App, but these places are good for building portfolios:
https://readymag.com/templates/portfolio - one portfolio file for free
http://paste.app - presentation builder, you can use it for portfolio and share it with your clients

Hope than helps! I'm also interested if there other good platforms to use.
