  • Hi Gabriel,
I'm looking at your portfolio and here you've got a few suggestions.
As we never have a second opportunity to create a very good first impression...
Visiting your website, at first sight I'm a bit confused.
Are you an artist who does advertising photography on the side? Or are you a professional commercial photographer who keeps exploring the craft with personal projects?
If you are the latter, I would set your homepage as your advertising page.
That way to introduce your potential clients straight into their area of interest... to contract you.
At the same time, I would stay clear from interactive carrousels. They require clicking through to see each piece of work, which when using a mobile can be a bit cumbersome with small buttons. Or if you prefer big buttons, they might look a bit too much on small screens.
Apart from that, your work looks very professional throught. The only exception, and this is my personal opinion, is that clown lady with the black cone nose. It looks like a clown with a sharp black nose. What's the point? On a more positive note, I like most of your work. It looks very professional and you captured your subjects personalities beautifully. What would be interesting to see is how you would much more compelling environments wih original ideas that enhance your craft even further. That's one thing I always look when hiring a photographer... how would he or she make my idea even greater with their suggestions, craft and skills? Hope that helps. Cheers. Asier Jon
