Hello! I am just wondering if there is anyone who would be able to review my portfolio? Any feedback would be wonderful!

  • @Lucy Megson I dont think it'd be too much. On the contrary, it proves the depth of your influence and responsibility with the brand, and the strength of your design prowess :)
As long as you make sure your best work sits at the top, and not hidden away amongst a sea of your other projects.
  • @Ben Hoath Thank you for this feedback, it is really helpful. I will look into getting this sorted. I think I might have some sketches somewhere for the Ultimate Adventre Centre projects and I do have more artwork that I did for that company but was not sure whether it would be too much?

    Thank you again!
  • @Lucy Megson Lots of lovely work in your portfolio, Lucy. I really like the Ultimate Adventure Centre project. I think you should make more of a case study of this. Do you have sketches and preliminary ideas on this? It would be nice to see the development.
For the Gentlemen's Journal, it's missing an excerpt at the top of the page so it's unclear as to what you've contributed towards here?
Under Personal Branding, the image of your CV:
    • The kerning between the E and G in your surname might need to be revised.
    • Your Header 1 name needs to be budged to the left by 1mm. (Don't always trust the bounding boxes in InDesign / Illustrator - always trust your eye over metrics.
    • Your spacing between paragraph and header text is hard to discern. I suggest either using a bold typeface on the headers or adjusting your leading to split them up a bit, making it easier to read.
I love the Keep Britain Tidy project, I think that's a great idea :D
Hope you find these comments constructive ✌️
