Hello, Looking to develop my skills and further my experience in research and development and film/documentary production.

More than happy to intern if anybody knows of any positions available. Thank you very much!

  • Hi Ben,
You are based on London - contact and register with a diary service (eg callboxdiary) and ask them for 'runner' and production assistant work, on both studio shoots and in the office - fastest track to gain experience and build your network of people and learn on the job. At those jobs you want to befriend the first AD (if on shoot) or the producers (if in the office) and let them know you are looking for work. Take advertising work as it's the 'route in' to film production (and the best paid along the way)
  • Hi Ben,

I’m Jamil from The Dots! Here are my top tips to help you find work:

    1. Follow your favourite companies so you’re the first to know when they post jobs and call-outs:

    2. Build your network by connecting with people you already know, and people you want to know! (fun fact: 50-80% of jobs are filled through networking):

Oh, and your newsfeed is the place to discover all the best opportunities to network, find work and more:

    I hope that helps!
