  • Search for “Nielsen Norman Group” on google. They are the number 1 leading UX expert in the world. You will find a good load of ux information there m8 :)
  • @Emily Tse - No worries! The name is a little misleading actually. They run courses all over the world, and also have a bunch of online videos and talks that might provide a decent introduction to the topic.

    Anyway, good luck!
  • @steve keane @Jamie Ansell @Pauline Malubay thank you for your advice!
@John McGarvey Thanks! unfortuantely I am not in London at the moent so i am replying on online courses!@John McGarvey Thanks! unfortuantely I am not in London at the moent so i am replying on online courses! Yes I am looking to improve my all round skill and I am sure the research and design thinking will help in any design discipline! :) UX writing and research is more interesting for me that in that case- will have a look more thanks!
  • Hi Emily! Good replies here already, but one angle you might not have considered is content design / UX writing. The discipline is very similar to UX design, but from the perspective of words and language.

Content Design London regularly run two-day courses that I've heard are excellent: https://contentdesign.london/.

Developing your skills in this area can be a great way to become a stronger designer all-round, especially if you're not in a role where you work with a dedicated content designer.

  • User Experience Design Essentials- teaches you the fundamentals of UI/UX within the framework of XD. Available via Udemy. I'm coming to the end of it and found it very enriching for my personal development.
