Hey! I am looking for full frame camera+lens, my budget is 1000 euro. Any recommendations? :)

I was thinking about some of canon 5d but it is a bit loud and heavy. I travel a lot and I do not know if it is a good idea. Sony Alpha 7 also is on my list, but it seems to have a more expensive glass.
If you have some advice, please let me know, I will be grateful!

  • @Jude TOLSON Thank you, yes, I have heard a lot of good opinions about it. Isn't it too heavy/big in your opinion?
  • @Jagoda Jagoda I have the mark 3, but I picked it up 2nd hand. I’ve heard that the mark 4 is gr
  • @Jude TOLSON Thanks for the reply! Which one of 5d you have? Mark IV seems to be the most popular around my friends.
  • The 5D is great. I own one & I don’t find it that heavy!! It’s a great versatile camera! I highly recommend it!!!
  • @Kid Circus Thank you very much, I really appriciate! Awesome shots by the way, just started to follow you on Instagram.
  • @Jagoda Jagoda My pleasure. Well, I used to have a Sony A7ii before I switched to Fuji actually. It's still a very decent camera. You can probably get the body and a decent kit lens for about €1300.

Again, I would consider looking at secondhand sources like ebay or Facebook marketplace where you'll find some very reasonably priced used gear. You could look at anyone selling a Sony A7ii, Nikon d750, Canon 6D or Canon 5D mk3 with a lens.
  • @Kid Circus Thank you very much, will take a look at Fuji's line of cameras, I never worked with them actually. From a more expensive equipment, full-frame, which you recommend?
  • To be honest, getting full frame for €1000 is a rather big ask unless you look at sourcing the equipment secondhand.

The other consideration is to go crop sensor, and I can attest to the quality of the images Fuji's line of cameras produce i.e. XT2 or XPro2. You would be more likely to be able to get a body and a lens for around 1000 and you'd be getting a considerably lighter camera setup than that of a Canon 5D or a Sony A7.

But if you really want a full frame setup, you may have to spend a wee bit more.
