Hey, If anyone has time to give me some portfolio feedback at all, it'd be really appreciated, thanks - https://llblackwell.weebly.com/
It's kind of a mixed bag as I’m a bit of a jack of all trades and master of none, which is partly why I feel uneasy about my work.
I've recently started studying UI/UX and I'm working on a few projects to replace the app design in my portfolio. I wondered if it would be a good idea to layout my other projects in the same way as UX designer would? (goals, challenges, solutions, research, draft work, ect.)
I'm also unsure what to take out, I'm not really interested in doing any more 3D work but it's good to show I have experience in it right? Plus the Lego project in my portfolio is probably one of my most impressive (although I can't show my individual models publicly as they're under NDA)
Anyway, Thanks again in advance for any advice you can give

- @Lloyd Blackwell no worries at all! Glad I could help, good luck with everything. :)
- @Jasmine Walsh Thanks, I did rush through some of the text a bit, probably a few typos in there I'd imagine, lol.Good shout, I'll rejig the font colours a bit too. Thanks again, I appreciate the feedback
- @Chris Mence Thanks I fussed a lot over the layout, I'm glad it shows, lol. How do you mean outdated? Anything I could do to modernise it a bit more? Ah right, I see what you mean with the mechanic vibe, I've tried to keep everything fairly neutral and professional looking as black/white/grey tends to be a goto for me anyway. I figured the projects were kind of the colourful bit, but I guess I could maybe put some blue in there somewhere, a font change might help too. Thanks, yea I have a couple UI/UX in the works I'll be uploading soon and I'll check out the link. Thanks again, your feedbacks been really helpful
- @Hajra Mubashar Thanks, I appreciate it,was pretty hard to cut down the visual development section to what it is now lol. That's a really good point actually, think I got too used to the bare header, I'l change that up. Yea I should export some better quality ones for the large displays, good spot. Thanks, I was wondering if the blocks were a little too much at times. Thanks again for your help
- Hi Lloyd, looks great - I love how much of the process you show, in your visual development section. I'd suggest maybe making better use of the header section at the top. That drop down menu with the different types of work in far right corner could be much easier and more visible to access as a still menu across the header that stays at the top even upon scrolling, like how you have the current black bar that comes down. Like here: https://materialarchiv.ch/en/vacuum/, plus it's a good way to add some nice typography to the empty header. If possible you could also use higher resolution images for your images of single t-shirts. I love that you break up the flow of the layout with blocks of colour.
- Hi! It looks great but I'd say to just double check all the spelling and grammar. Also keeping some of the backgrounds slightly lighter or the fonts in white (e.g the Batman & Superman page) to make it easier to read? :)
