Hi All, redone my CV in Word to make it into an interactive pdf but only some elements are linking. Can anyone help?
I created the links by hightlighting word, right click, add hyperlink and pasting link in

- @Elise Hounslow ah that's a good point, it's terrible for ATS, especially with funky layouts. Depends on where you're applying I guess. Good luck!
- @Emilios Farrington-Arnas Hi yes i do, and originally did it in ilustrator actually but a recruiter told me that Adobe doesn't export well for being read by ATS, so that's why I've done it in word now. Not sure how true this is though
- @Elise Hounslow Should be fine then, i'd say to double check the non-working links, and absolutely second the suggestion of @Emilios Farrington-Arnas
- Do you have inDesign? It's infinitely easier to work with functioning links
- @Adam Spratley I've still got word for mac 2011. Can tell I'm an AI user haha. It did some of them but not all
- It sounds like you're doing the right thing, but it will hinge on how you're exporting the document, and perhaps the version of Word that you're using.
