  • With the huge amount of artists in this industry (especially makeup and photographer), getting signed isnt as easy these days.
Most agencies will look for someone who is already established with clients. I used to be with an agency few years ago.
Assisting and fashion weeks is often a good way to build up your credits.
  • @Iain Cooper Thanks Iain! That would be truly appreciated! Please accept my follow so I could drop you a message!!
  • @Charlene Williams first of all,OMG your works are amazing!!! And yea I aim to assist, I have 4 years experiences but didn't have big clients which I've been told it's hard to get signed with agency if you don't have big clients. However I did assist for agencies but it's really unpredictable, sometimes I just assisted once a month. I'm looking for full time assisting (I am emailing to apply as ),do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your reply xxxx
  • @Billy Glow that would be hugely appreciated!!just dropped you a message
  • Do you want representation or do you want to assist? It can be pretty difficult to get representation, it depends on how long you have been in the industry the clients you already have and who you have worked with or currently work with. You can sign up to agencies and become makeup assistant and work your way up that way, the work is paid and is often at a pretty decent rate. If you’re fairly new to the industry it’s a really great way to learn from other makeup artists, maybe makeup artists that you’re inspired by and admire
