  • I know what you mean @Andra Badea. It's pretty tough to bubble to the surface, Behance has some of the world's best creatives all vying for attention. I've had the same frustrations you mention for sure. It can be pretty soul crushing! But try to not get too discouraged, @Simeon Elson is right, engaging with the community helps too. Trying to get features from outside blogs is a good strategy too.

The Behance team swears they see absolutley all projects posted in the platform, so don't publish your work until you think it's totally ready to be seen.

All in all, be patient and keep fighting. Getting featured is nice, but it not necesarily a game changer, your work is excellent and I'm sure you'll do great either way :)
  • Agree with @Pablo Espinosa, most of the projects that get featured tell a story. Effectively selling the project.

On another note, you have some great illustrations!
  • @Pablo Espinosa thanks for the advice, one of my main concerns is how to get the work seen, both by the curatorial team and other members or possible clients. So far even if i have a more detailed project i have just a few dozen views which is weird and discouraging to me :(
  • Hi Andrea, in my experience Behance will feature you if you present your work as fancy as possible, and also if you make long, meaty projects with a lot of images and possibly videos and animation.

It's all about crafting a bit of a story about your project. I can't say I'm particularly good at it, but I have had a couple of features, and you can definitley see that the great majority of featured projects follow this pattern.

    Best of luck!
  • Hi Andra,
Your work is great, you have an awesome style. I find that Behance rewards you the more you engage with other users of the platform. So try would leaving comments regularly on any projects that you come across that you like. Post as often as you can...
