Hi, I'm looking for some career advice around getting into interior styling and art direction for work.

I want to start using my styling and photography skills but haven't worked in this industry previously. I feel that all the photos I take look a bit amature, so I'm looking for a way to boost my confidence and maybe I can do that through some training or some other way.

It would be nice to receive some advice on the following:
Courses on building these skill (including creative confidence) They can be online or even residential placements (I'm based in France)
Some advice on building a portfolio would be great.
How to present projects on here (The Dots) if they're not professional projects, just self driven.
How to apply for jobs without the experience.
Any other skills that I should develop to help me excel in the role.

I'm 43 years old so this is quite a big move for me and I guess it's a definite career pivot, having previoulsy always worked in admin. I'm lacking a bit of confidence and have a touch of imposter syndrome when it comes to working in the creative industries although I do have a degree in fine art.
I'm not currently working in France due to the language barrier so affordable suggestions would be great.

Thanks so much.
Abi
