I am looking for work at the moment and I would really appreciate some pointers. Would you hire me? If not why not? I'm stuck and I really need some help! Thanks!!!

    @Keva Epale omg thanks so much keva. I just kind of threw it up as I had my portfolio done, tacked on to my card buisness website. I will spend some time creating a new website for my portfolio given yours and others advice.

    Hello @Emma Thirkill-Kirk I think the main problem is the way you present your work.

    Your website needs to more thought through and guide the user better. You need to choose pieces that will show your best work so far.

    _Website creation
    You are using a Wix website and you show your portfolios on a pdf.
    I think you should evolve to a more professional template or website creator and mostly share all your work on your website directly as a section or specific page.

    _Add some storytelling
    It is really good that you share your journey into design, that is meaningful. You should use the right copy throughout your website to express that growth and progress.

    Your website should reflect who you are growing into, it will evolve and transform for sure. So start fresh now with a better template or UI & UX for a sur-mesure website you create, the right projects, the right copy, etc

    By taking the time to think it through and have a structure and vision (respecting your stepping stone which is ''you switched into design''),
    you will be able to present a more professional and enticing body of work.

    Hi Emma, you Have all the information there but I can't help thinking you aren't taking full advantage of your website to show case your illustration skills. I personally think you should add more illustrations / drawings to the site to make it stand out visually. I hope this helps?
