Hi ! Im a junior creative fresh on the scene looking for advice, tips, do's and don'ts, etc :)

Ive recently finished my Fine Art degree at Nottingham Trent Uni, and have been looking for ways to propell my artwork into a more comercial sector. I can work within a variety of mediums, from photography, key frame animation, and illustration, with mainly digital softwares like the Adobe Suite. Im not quite sure yet what to apply myself into, job wise. If anyone has any advice into what my next steps could be, that would be great!

  • Hello Finlay,

It's quite hard to give advice on this without you showing your work. If you drop me a mail on 4nn414@gmail.com I can have a look.
  • Hi finlay,

I’m Jamil from The Dots! Here are my top tips to help you find work:

    1. Follow your favourite companies so you’re the first to know when they post jobs and call-outs:

    2. Build your network by connecting with people you already know, and people you want to know! (fun fact: 50-80% of jobs are filled through networking):

Oh, and your newsfeed is the place to discover all the best opportunities to network, find work and more:
