  • @Adam Zygadlo Thanks a lot :)
That is a really good idea I might change my home page to be more about the techniques that I use.

  • Lovely illustrations!

Just my initial thoughts as a new visitor on your website.

The products you are selling look like they are hand made(?) with a passion behind them (Correct me if I am wrong). Tell your customers that. Tell a story.

I have worked with many companies (big and small) redesigning their websites/brands, and the most common thing is that they provide amazing products but there is no story behind their products or the company. This is not to be mistaken with a sales pitch.
Tell me (the customer) how they are made by hand, with certain paints, on recycled paper, and no illustration is the same because of this. (I'm just making things up, but you get the idea.)

I would rename from 'Info' to something more personal eg. about my art.
I would also add a workshop section, show your working environment. If I were looking for illustrations (that aren't mass-printed by a big company), I would love to see how much work goes into them.

Selling art pieces is very different from 'standard' products. They have a story/ a passion/ a method. Make your website and the information on it personal; just like your illustrations are.

On a practical side, unless I am missing something, I think the homepage should have maybe 5 of your most popular products and a section where I am told what I am looking at. E.g. Illustrations can be on x,y,z sized paper, with custom sizes available if needed. (Again, may not be accurate, but as a customer would like to know this as soon as I land on your page).
Another note, it is generally (not always) not best practice to have a dropdown on the menu nav. The categories seem a little bit mixed around.

    I would re-work the navigation.
Home (without a dropdown). - Just a link to the homepage
    Shop - Categories of products
Inspiration - The categories currently under the home tab should sit here.
My Workshop - About your workspace, your story, your inspirations, etc

The one thing I struggled with was knowing if something was a product and inspiration or just an illustration style.
For example; Just Bee - It has a lovely description of this greeting card and describes it as a purchasable product, but how do I purchase it? Maybe have and add to cart button there? or show the product below?

Overall I think it is a lovely design but needs a bit of structure (in terms of the navigation), bit more of a story behind your art and your passion/workshop, and a bit more information on the homepage about the products you sell.

I wish you all the best with your online shop!

  • It's very pretty!! I love it and i love your work its very pretty
Only recommendation I have is to make your header/logo image clickable to homepage for better user experience :)
  • Lovely website. I would suggest have a Process page which talks about your methods that you undertake when producing the artwork. Maybe at different stages from sketching, outline, colouring, etc.

I would break the info page into two pages... About and Contact pages to make it more clear
