Hi would anyone be willing to have a look at my UI design portfolio? I’d love some feedback!

  • Hi Nerys,

    Great work so far.
I like how you have introduced your sketches on the Wagamama app design and Get Money Sorted page too.

It's interesting to see all the different stages on the Checkout page (all the work that has led to your final design which works well due to its clarity.

I think some of the typography could be tidied up on the intro's.
Some lines are quite long for the size of the type and a little more leading would be good (if you have control over this).

    Website overall:
Also, it's great that you have included your personal work
    (which I really like).

About Me page still to be filled out of course...
It will be great to see the web site once complete.

Lots of luck and I hope this helps.

  • @Nerys Petrou No problem at all. I hope it helps. I'm not sure what your budget is for the website, but there are a lot of great tools out there at different price points that might give you more flexibility and control over everything. Squarespace, Semplice, Carbonmade and webflow are only some of them and are quite easy to use. I know webflow allows you to trial it or start with it for free too.
  • @Dhruve Shah I have been quite limited in Uxfolio but I will make some changes and keep your comments in mind :) Thanks so much for your feedback!
  • Hi Nerys,

I would keep things consistent, the style of case studies to your pages varies drastically. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of uxfolio? Your home header is center aligned, while the other page headers are left aligned.

Is the site a WIP? Your about page looks like, what I'm assuming is the default. And also, I would break your intro text on the homepage up a bit, to give it a bit of breathing room, and make it easier to digest. Upon seeing that much text in one paragraph, I'm tempted to skip it.

I'd also move the "or find me at..." on the contact page up, so people see that option before filling out the contact form.
