Hiring a part-time TikTok video editor for my podcast at the intersection between art and technology.
Here’s what’s going on through my head
Narrative: very little high quality metaverse content. Creators broadly fall under two categories:
1. Influencers who are great at content production but stay superficial
2. industry people who have insights but no idea on how to create high quality material. They usually end up going for the superficial, virality driven
With Chaotica, we do not seek mass virality. We seek virality solely among the niche of dissenting technologists and builders. To do that we need to nail both insights and content.
1) Inspiration for the edits for TikToks/Reels/Shorts (disregard guests or themes discussed)

Note: these content creators know how to display the top moments of their podcasts. If we could have this level of engaging videos (notice edits and rhythm), but also find an artistic edge and keep branding, we could have something interesting.
2) What is currently being done in the field and I DO NOT want:

Notice: very low quality of edits, image sampling and thought behind them. These are purely added to keep users engaged with the video but don’t mean anything. There’s no beauty to it and . The reason why I am not hiring a cheap fiver editor is because I want to avoid precisely to fall in this category.
