How do you find your theme for your next mini collection/portfolio work?

- Hiya I normally look at books and galleries just research into history and and information I find interesting.
- Take a walk, close to home. See what inspires you, put your phone away and look around your home and local areas. Something might pop out to you. I did a collection inspired by one of my fav books, I created the designs from a single paragraph. There is no right or wrong conecpt when it comes to creating a fashion collection. Just do what feels right and if it works for you, it works :)
- @Georgia Marianne I started doing a small pinterest moodboard for myself and it definitely helps!
- @Robin Howie thank you very much!!
- I eyedrop colours from drawings/prints/images that i like
- Making Pinterest colour mood boards, and then yarn wrapping from these!https://www.pinterest.co.uk/georgia0400/pastel-curves/
- Admittedly I don’t work in fashion, however I saw this just last week and it seems pertinant to all design professions... it certainly rings true with my work at Fieldwork Facility.https://www.instagram.com/p/B_7a9hiJNqU/?igshid=8whit3b9d3h6Good luck!
